In simple terms, grains are plants that grow from a single seed and produce even more seeds we want to harvest. The process is always the same with grains, hence why we group them together, including soybeans.
Price per acre is something like this: Grains - 6K per acre. Grains plus straw - 9K per acre. Specialty crops (cotton, beets, potatoes) - 9K per acre. Grass silage - 15K per acre (not 100% sure on this one) Sugercane - 20K per acre. Corn silage - 25K per acre, requires BioGas Plant to be purchased. Wood chips - don't bother.
If you have seasons on, check the calendar, green is when you plant, orange is when you harvest. How long it takes is also based on how many days you have in a month. Only the months matter, the number of days just give you more time in between. 8. level 2.

That’s what I do sometimes, if I feel the yield was pathetic, I just time set 120x, crop growth fast, withering off, and BOOM! Within like, 20 mins my field is back.
Soya by a fare mile. You can't do anything with it just seling, so it has the highest price of all crops. It give low volume on the harvest. It also need lower volume of seed than barley or weat. If you play without season you can harvest it faster as others to it has 6 monts grow time. If you have PF active it dosent need fertilizer.

If you play with crop destruction enabled, you should use a tractor with narrow tires for the following steps (as soon as the crop starts to grow), otherwise a lot of plants will get destroyed. Optional: After you're done with planting, you can also use a soil roller to condense the soil and increase the yield by additional 2,5%.
Sow / plant your desired crop and apply the second fertilizer stage (in case the seeder cannot fertilize as well) for another 22.5% yield bonus. Roll the field using a field roller for 2.5% yield bonus. Last, to ensure no weeds will grow in your crop (that can decrease the yield up to 20%) run a weeder / hoe /chemical sprayer.
